The Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch in early 2025, entering the competition for the best smartphone of the year. Samsung is bringing its latest technologies to the “Ultra” models, with the S25 Ultra set to be thinner than ever, featuring a sleek 8.25mm design. New leaks have revealed four color options: black, green, blue, and titanium. Samsung typically reserves more vibrant colors for its standard models, while Ultra variants stick to classic tones.

Color Options and Design:

Samsung typically offers a wide range of colors for its Galaxy S series, and it seems the same strategy applies to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to reputable leaker Ice Universe on X (formerly Twitter), the S25 Ultra will be available in black, green, blue, and titanium. However, it’s possible that new color options will be introduced months after the initial release. It’s also unclear if exclusive colors for Samsung’s online store are part of this initial set.

Slimmer and Sleeker Build:

The design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will highlight its thin body, measuring just 8.25mm thick—compared to the current S24 Ultra’s 8.6mm. Despite thinner flagships being available from other brands, Samsung’s Ultra model remains the only smartphone capable of housing and charging the S Pen internally.

The rear camera design is also getting a refinement, with each sensor still separated but now encased in a thicker black ring. Additionally, Samsung is working to reduce the bezel size around the display, making the screen appear more expansive.

Key Leaked Specifications:

In terms of performance, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor globally. Samsung has yet to rule out the use of the Exynos 2500 chip for the standard and Plus models, though. Buyers can expect configurations with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM.

As for the camera system, the S25 Ultra will pack a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope lens offering 5x optical zoom. The front camera will feature a 12MP sensor for selfies.
